Today I am cooking at home and making pan bolillos. This is an easy way to make French bread rolls at home. The crusty exterior and the tender soft middle are perfect for sandwiches or just slathered in butter.

STARTER
1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
1/3 cup (78 ml ) warm water
1/4 tsp dry active yeast
INGREDIENTS
3 1/2 cups (455 g) all-purpose flour
2 tsp dry active yeast
1 Tbsp (14 g) sugar
2 tsp (10 g) salt
1 Tbsp (15 ml) cooking oil
1 1/4 cup (295 ml) warm water

Preheat oven @450 ºF / 232 ºC and bake for 10 minutes, then lower oven temperature to 400 ºF / 204 ºC and continue baking for 10 to 12 minutes
