People always say the charging infrastructure in the UK isn’t good enough and you can only drive long distances in a Tesla, so I wanted to prove them wrong – and have a bit of an adventure!

The plan was to drive about 2,000 miles around the UK in my Kia e-Niro in three days. Starting in Canterbury, driving to Land’s End in Cornwall (as far west as you can go), then on to John O’Groats (as far north you can go on land) and then back to Canterbury for my 40th birthday.

So how did it go? Was charging difficult? Did I survive it mentally? And – most importantly – what music did I listen to?!

I also wanted to raise some money for three great charities: British Lung Foundation; Great Ormond Street Hospital and The Stroke Association (who offered such great support when I had my recent mini-stroke).
