David has over a decade of senior leadership experience at Barclays and the Bank of England. A former Fulbright fellow and Coca-Cola Scholar, he was selected as one of the Division of the Social Sciences' inaugural Alumni-in-Residence. David has published research in prominent journals such as the Journal of Monetary Economics and The Economic Journal. He is a Member of the British Library's Advisory Council.
