"Iskorokotoy" tells the story of a Batangueno who ventures to Manila to sell mosquito nets and blankets. Can he get out of the hardships of life?

Released in 1981, this is Dencio Padilla's first starring role and he is supported by an all-star cast in cameos such as Fernando Poe, Jr., Joseph Estrada, Eddie Garcia, Vilma Santos, Rudy Fernandez, Phillip Salvador, Robert Jaworski, Francis Arnaiz, Ike Lozada, Dabiana, German Moreno, Ramon Zamora, Maria Theresa Carlson, Chichay, Palito, Angge, and other big names in local cinema and sports.

Directed by Danny Ochoa and with a story by Danny Ochoa and Dencio Padilla, the original movie theme song "Iskorokotoy" is written by National Artist for Music and Literature Mr. Levi Celerio with music by Resty Umali.
