He describes Clayton as "the country," and puts us on to the lack of entertainment in the town and which leads people to travel for parties.Inspired by artists like Chief Keef, Future, Lil Durk, and G Herbo, Ratchet didn't have a specific role model but was drawn to the music scene. His first song released after a stint in jail gained traction, motivating him to take his music career seriously.Ratchet's journey hasn't been easy, with a lot of things getting in the way like multiple jail sentences and the loss of close friends.

These experiences have fueled his determination to succeed in music, using it as a form of expression and escape from his past troubles. DTR Ratchet emphasizes the importance of investing in oneself, highlighting the financial and emotional commitment required to make it in the industry. Despite the challenges, he remains focused on building his brand and making a name for himself. Ratchet is committed to making Clayton a household name and has plans to release new tracks.
