We have some important updates since we last talked to you some 6 hours ago. Two of them, if true, are not good at all!

First, this evening, at the beginning of the new day, when Israel remembers the Holocaust, Prime Minister Netanyahu made it clear that the words "Never Again," mean exactly that! He reiterated the fact that Israel would destroy the Hamas murderers and bring back the hostages, even if they have to do it alone... The Holocaust will NEVER happen again!

Well, as far as Israel going it alone, this may be the case. Here's the latest...

Hamas' delegation has left Cairo with no hostage deal. However, there are reports that they will agree to release 33 prisoners in the first stage of a ceasefire, without committing to an end to hostilities.

We need to read this in light of a story that Virtual Jerusalem reported.

The story is that CIA director Burns, who was in Egypt for these talks, has supposedly assured Hamas of Israeli compliance, in that he promised that the War would halt after a deal is made. In other words, after the proposed temporary cease-fire agreement is completed, the hostilities would not resume. Israel would not go into Rafah! The fighting would be over.

This obviously undermines Israel's war aims.

To make matters worse, there is a story from Axios that the U.S. has put a hold on an ammunition shipment to Israel! This is the first time this has happened, namely, that a weapons shipment intended for the Israeli military was held up.

Sources also say that Blinken told Netanyahu this last Wednesday that the U.S. would publicly oppose a major military operation in Rafah. Biden has also warned of changes in the U.S. policy if Israel goes ahead.

So, will Israel have to go it alone? We will have to wait and see.
