"It's okay to feel however you're feeling. It's okay to cry or scream or do nothing at all." Her grandmother's hand was gentle as she moved the unruly hair away from her face, tucking it behind her ear.

Crying was a natural part of existence. To her, crying had been as easy as breathing. She had come to learn from those around her such a nature was perceived as a curse, even if none in her family ever considered it as such. In her mind, she was still not sure how she felt about such an act- was it truly natural for it to find it so easy to find her eyes burning whenever a wave of sadness surged within her? Or was it truly just a curse?

"Your feelings are your own, honor them, learn from them." Her grandmother's cool palm pressed into her cheek, and she immediately allowed herself to sink into its comfort. "Figure out what you think is helpful, no matter what it is, and keep it. And anything else?"

It was a question she knew the answer to. It had become a part of her throughout her life.

"To be released." Her words quivered with the tears that began to obscure her vision.

It was okay to cry.

Your emotions are your own, do not let anyone tell you how to feel. And, if you wish, allow this musical playlist to hopefully embrace what heartbreak you may be undergoing. You are not alone, your feelings are real and deserve to be felt, and there's nothing wrong with letting it all out.

I specifically made this playlist for all the modern witches (and anyone else, really) who's nursing a heartbreak and just needs to let it all out and cry. Let this help in making all of those emotions into something, don't just bottle it up and hide it away. Cry if you need to, scream if you need to, do anything that can help; and if you can't in this moment, because I know that also happens, try and find a time to get it all out.

And after all that, know that things will get better.
