Moomintroll has been imprisoned by the Park Keeper for, among other things, the supposed crime of getting in the way of progress. It's not likely that Snufkin or anyone else is going to be able to plea for his release which means they're going to have to come up with a plan to set things right.

As luck would have it, Moominpapa has the perfect idea to distract the Park Keeper so Moomintroll can be freed. Everyone else has had the same plan, but they're letting Moominpapa have this one. Such an elaborate scheme has many moving parts, all of which we'll need to accomplish. One of them we've already completed without even knowing it and most of the others are quite simple.
