This is the walk around and story on how I got my latest tow rig, my 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 6.6 Diesel. It is my first diesel and the one that made me drop the previous gas-powered tow rigs. It's been a great truck but, it is approaching that magic 300,000 miles where the Duramax's start needing to be rebuilt. It may be getting close to trade up to a newer Duramax with less miles and a 4x4 for the Montana Winters that will be in my future.
