In this rare footage, one of Bruce Lee's students demonstrates and shares with many people for the first time the art of Escrima.

Guru Dan Inosanto is a legendary figure in the world of martial arts. He was one of only three people appointed to teach Jun Fan Gung Fu Principles under Bruce Lee, alongside Taky Kimura and James Yimm Lee. Guru Inosanto is a student of numerous martial arts masters from around the world, including Masterss Johnny Lacoste and Chai Sirisute. In this video he is seen with Chief instructor of IMB studio Richard Bustillo.

After the death of Bruce Lee, Inosanto became the primary spokesperson and historian for Jeet Kune Do, spreading the legacy of the martial arts icon to new generations. Inosanto has also had minor roles in several films, including the iconic Bruce Lee film, "Game of Death."

In the film "I Am Bruce Lee," Inosanto had the opportunity to share a little-known fact about his friendship with Bruce Lee. He was Lee's teacher and introduced him to the weapon of nunchaku, teaching him the basics and exercises to get him started on his weapons training. This is showcased in the "Game of Death" film, where Lee and Inosanto both use the nunchaku in impressive displays of skill and mastery.

In recognition of his contributions to the world of martial arts, Inosanto was named "Man of the Year" by Black Belt magazine in 1996. He is truly a master of his craft and a valuable part of martial arts history.
