In this video you can watch as I paint a hollow goose egg with alcohol ink and assorted markers. This method should not be used to decorate boiled eggs. It is for decorative hollow eggs only.
I have been decorating eggs this way for years. So many color combinations!

I do offer downloadable PDF tutorials in my Etsy shop here https://www.etsy.com/shop/MandarinMoon In my shop, on the left you will see a section called PDF Tutorials. If you find anything there you like, use coupon code YouT20 for a 20% discount! I also sell my already painted eggs there too. :)

Here are a few links to some of the supplies I used

Hollow Duck Eggs https://amzn.to/2Jw3JmF (I couldn't find a good source for goose eggs right now). I really like this seller and have purchased many items from them.

Sculpey Style and Detail Tools https://amzn.to/2PxPkKB (I love these tools and use them often with my polymer clay) In this video, I use the smallest to dip in silver ink and dot the egg. You could also use the head of a pin. :)

Ranger Alcohol Ink Here is a set of three that would work for this particular project https://amzn.to/2JvT6jz
They also offer larger sets here https://amzn.to/2oqkqZn

You can find the Sharpies at your local office supply.

You can probably find the Pilot gold pens at the office supply but, if not, here is a link to a two pack of gold and silver https://amzn.to/2Wmpryx

99% alcohol can be found at your local drug store or you can find it here https://amzn.to/2PtR47s

I also used old paint brushes. Don't use your good ones! I dabbed the ink onto the egg with a tissue. I've also used paper towel and cotton balls. Be careful with the cotton ball though. If the ink gets sticky, you'll get fuzzies on your egg. LOL

You definitely want to wear gloves if you attempt this. I use vinyl gloves. If you can't find them locally, here is a link to some offered on Amazon https://amzn.to/2MTwkEh

I know I didn't offer any written or verbal instructions here but you can check out my PDF tutorials in my Etsy shop. They go into more detail and are priced pretty reasonably too.
