In today's review we take a look at Chevy's heavy duty offering: The Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD! Here as the top-trim High Country and equipped with the optional 6.6L DURAMAX diesel V8, this heavy duty Chevy might be able to make a case for itself not only when compared to the Ford Super Duty and RAM heavy duty, but also when compared to its smaller half-ton brother.

With a massive torque output of 975 lb-ft and a towing capacity of 21,600 lbs as spec'd, this Chevy Silverado 2500 diesel can serve as the perfect work truck while not making any sacrifices in terms of comforts. So, if you're looking at buying a truck as a daily with occasional towing of medium to heavy loads in mind, there might just be case to be made to upgrade from the Silverado 1500 to the 2500. Is it worth it in the end? Find out in today's review!
