Nezuko Kamado is one of the most iconic anime characters of the modern day, but she is also one of the most wooden and hollow characters in anime. Despite how adorable she looks, the story of Demon Slayer has done her a disservice by reducing her role in the story to being nothing more than a plot device. This video explains why Nezuko isn't a fully realized character and is more like a prop intended to motivate Tanjiro and move the story forward.
