The danger is; if not attended to with special attention, the effects are quite devastating.

A Professional teacher and counselor with a wide experience in special needs education, Hope Nankunda has worked with parents and children with learning disabilities in Uganda for 10years.
In this TEDx Talk, Hope shares her fulfilling journey of working to understand children with the not so easily noticeable learning disabilities of Dyslexia and Mental Retardation.
Hope is the founder and Chairperson of Women of Hope Uganda (WOHU), an organization that promotes development of life skills among persons with disabilities through workshops and trainings in order to promote self-sustainability.
