Yung Joc discussed Meek Mill defending his sexual preference and a public exchange between Meek Mill and DJ Akademiks in his sit-down with Shawn Prez. The two recalled an online feud that erupted after Meek Mill announced his intention to start a podcast. In response to Meek asking who would pay him to do so, Akademiks offered $1 million, to which Meek responded with offense. Joc defended Akademiks by arguing that starting a podcast is his forte. Joc also argued that Meek needs to be more prepared for the varied responses he receives given his online persona. Prez and Joc speculated that Meek Mill’s vocal online presence, although sometimes controversial, could attract a significant audience if he began his own podcast.
