I've had all of these shavings on the work bench for a while now, they are just too beautiful and I couldn't bring myself to throw them away. You may recognise them from previous projects; points to anyone that can name any of the projects they come from.
I was really struggling to think of what to use these for but then saw the little plastic cups I used in the middle and thought about a whisky tumbler.
However, I think they may be a bit too big, and it's really unfortunate that the glue I used to hold down the cups in the middle dissolved and sent small glue chunks throughout the epoxy. Does look a bit like snow now! đ¤ˇââď¸
Let me know what you think! And don't you traditionalists worry, I won't use epoxy in all of my videos... I just had a few ideas đđ

Disclaimer:
My videos are for entertainment purposes only. I am still relatively new to woodturning and some of my techniques might not be the "best" or safest. When using any tools or machinery always read and understand safety/manufacturers guidelines.
Yes, I'm aware that wearing gloves while woodturning is considered an unsafe practise. The gloves I wear are tight fitting and donât have any loose threads. I wear them for the protection of my skin. This is a risk that I am willing to take, however I am still very conscious of the potential danger and I do not touch any spinning parts of the lathe. DO NOT do anything you donât feel comfortable doing.
