This engaging talk reveals that there is a powerful and undeniable interconnectedness between anxiety, loneliness, and suppressed grief. This becomes immediately clear during an emotional crisis, as most of us don't know how to ask for help, accept it if it's offered, or to offer it when it's needed. It is from this emotional isolation and pushing our emotions down in our chest that we develop anxiety, panic attacks, and the sleep issues that follow. By using breathing patterns to release our unexpressed and unprocessed emotions and by learning how to communicate, we deepen our connection with each other and alleviate our anxiety. Max Strom is a global speaker, trainer, and author known for inspiring and impacting the lives of people from all walks of life for over 30 years. He is an innovator in the field of breathing patterns and personal transformation to alleviate anxiety and PTSD. He presents keynotes and trainings worldwide and is the author of two books, "A Life Worth Breathing," and "There is No App for Happiness.” This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
