Turns out this is the best human powered log splitter I have ever seen! it split every pice of wood I fed into it! But the most impressive thing about this "wood Cracker" or " Wood Splitter" depending what you call it. Is that it's the safest way to split wood down to kindling size. Never catch your hand with the axe again!

Half way through filming this video I had to change the plan and find a harder pice of wood to split as the Kindling Cracker King made light work of everything including a solid 5" piece of seasoned Oak!

I decided to test it against the hardest wood on earth...Railway sleeper! Those in the trade would know that most of these sleepers are Jarrah. The wood is like steel and heavy as lead!

Happy to say that the Kindling Cracker King did split it with no problem!!
Cutting fire wood for the farm is an important job and its something we do weekly to heat the house.
