Can Ash Ketchum Beat Pokémon Platinum and Become the Sinnoh Champion?

After conquering the battle frontier, ash makes his way to Sinnoh for another championship. Like all of the previous ones, however, ash does not win. So I wanted to play through an ASH version of Pokémon platinum to see if he could have won with his sinnoh Pokémon.
