How many push ups can you do (be honest) COMMENT BELOW! 👇

Day 2 of FLOURISH 🌱includes push ups, don't panic ✋start at the level you need, and focus on your own progression. Save this so you can practice weekly to advance your push ups!

1.Don't neglect warming up the wrists!
2.Standing Wall Push Ups- Start with mastering standing wall push ups. Hands should be just outside your shoulders (thumbs in line with your arm pits) and elbows should not flare out, 45 degree angle. Think of the movement as if you are pushing a door open. High reps to start to build your strength (3 sets of 30).
3.Incline push ups- At an incline you feel comfortable with. Keep the form same as above and remember to also keep that core tight.
4. Kneeling Push Ups - Ensure your chest touches or grazes the floor to get full depth.
5. Negative Push Ups (this builds a lot of strength)- In a plank position, lower yourself fully to the ground as slow as possible. Use your knees to lift up and repeat. Once you feel strong with those, try a rep not using your knees to push up!
