We were #gifted a day out at Puffing Billy which was SO much fun!

Our day began at Lakeside Visitor Centre in Emerald where we tried their new Yoga class first thing in the morning! It was our first time taking a class and although it was a little challenging, it was the perfect way to begin our day.

We then enjoyed breakfast and a hot chocolate at the Railway Cafe which was amazing before having a quick look in the free museum in the Lakeside Hall.

We then drove to Belgrave where we caught our train. This is the only line to Lakeside where you can sit on the carriage sills and dangle your feet out! The scenery was so beautiful and the trip took about an hour.

Once we were back at Lakeside Station, we picked up our pre-arranged picnic pack from the Lakeside Visitor Centre. We also collected the electric bikes that we hired from Cog Bikes Australia and rode down to the lake to enjoy our picnic.

We gave the e-bikes a good test run on the Eastern Dandenong Ranges Trail before catching our return train back to Belgrave.
