In todays video I get to drive a 2022 Ford Explorer ST with the ST performance brake pkg. This Explorer ST is basically fully loaded and its stickers at $60,015 !

For 2022 you can get this ST with only rear wheel drive if you dont need the AWD system. It will certainly will be fun to drive with just RWD for sure!

I have driven almost all trim of Explorers but this certainly is the most fun. Power comes from a 3 liter TT V6 with 400 hp and it definitely moves very well, handling is pretty good, nice direct steering and plenty of tire for goos grip in corners. Its not a X5M but it sure feels play full to drive and have some fun!. The ST Explorer's suspension is lowered about an inch has revised performance shocks, revised springs and a bigger sway bar. The brakes feel fantastic with great stopping power from those updated pads of the brake pkg which is a great option of you are getting an ST Explorer. Overall it definitely drives much different than the regular Explorers, much more engaging, taut and ready for action.
