Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. and Deputy Chief Bryan Warner, along with many other leaders from the Cherokee Nation, celebrated Cherokee Nation Legislative Day at the Oklahoma State Capitol last week.

Chief Hoskin spoke on the House and Senate floors to reaffirm the great friendship between the Cherokee Nation and the state of Oklahoma, and to discuss the great #progress happening in the Cherokee Nation and our tribe’s influence on progress in Oklahoma and across the country.

Cherokee Nation leaders also met with Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell and spent the day visiting with Oklahoma lawmakers about issues that are important to the tribe.
