Moving along on the Jeep Wrangler JK King of the Hammers build, its time to make a custom back half frame! The rear frame of the JK Wrangler is a great setup when stock, but once you start trying to fit coilovers and bypass shocks it becomes very space limited. There are a handful of backhalf kits available, however we really didnt need the conventional "JK" parts. We grabbed some 3x2 square tubing and got to work! We were able to raise the frame up, as well as in, both giving us clearance for the axle and suspension.

Shortly after finishing up the rear frame, our new torque convertor and flexplate from TCI came in.
Running a crate LS3 and a ReidTH400 combo is a super strong, yet simple combo. We pulled the trans and engine, installed the new flywheel and TC and buttoned everything up! A fresh transmission pan and gasket as well as a locking Dipstick from Lokar were installed.
