Mixed martial arts coach Xu Xiaodong defeated Wei Lei, a practitioner of the “thunder style” of tai chi, in a challenge match in about 10 seconds.

Multiple media outlets are reporting that Wei Lei responded to an open challenge after Coach Xu trolled traditional martial arts schools online, but this is in fact not true.

The truth is that Wei Lei began taunting Coach Xu online after Xu cancelled an earlier meetup to test Wei Lei's claim to be able to break a rear naked chokehold with only 1 hand using a Tai Chi technique.
