Hybrid manufacturing combines additive and subtractive processes to change how complex parts are made. This video shows the production of an Inconel 625 impeller using Autodesk software (Fusion 360 and PowerMill) in partnership with Mazak (Variaxis J-600/5XAM hybrid machine platform) and Seco Tools (solid carbide and ceramic tooling). By using the latest software, machines, and tooling, hybrid manufacturing enables manufacturers to produce high-value parts faster, more sustainably, using less natural resources with lower levels of waste.
