Mega Extended Selfie Stick Shots
With an extra-long telescope stick you can use the full potential of the Insta360 X3. Due to the large range of motion of the extended selfie stick, the videos look like drone shots. The Flowstate stabilization also ensures buttery-smooth, perfectly stabilized Shots with the Insta360 X3.

Epic Timelapse Push
The trick is to merge two individual shots together. Set up your Insta360 X3 and record a Standard-video where you perform the Timelapse Push movement. Then switch to the timelapse function and capture a time-lapse. In post-processing, you can then mask out the background of the standard video and exchange it with the timelapse. By reframing you can add camera pans, this makes the Shot look even more impressive.

"Tilt your phone" Instagram Reel
Because the Insta360 X3 is a 360-degree camera, the pan, tilt and roll movement can be adjusted as desired in post-processing. Therefore, it is very easy to create the "tilt your phone" Reel or TikTok. In Insta360 Studio you have to set the ratio to 9:16. Set the first keyframe where you specify the direction and a second where you change the roll angle to 90°.

Dynamic 360 Bullet time SloMo Shots
The Insta360 X3 allows you to create breathtaking 360 Bullet time SloMo Shots in 4K - 120fps or even 180fps in 3K. The unique feature is the so called “invisible selfie stick”. This makes it look like a drone is circling around you.

Underwater Transition
The Insta360 X3 is waterproof up to 10meters and can therefore also be used for underwater videos. The underwater transition is a good trick to use such underwater Shots in a creative way.

Rise up Shots
Rise up Shots are easy to create, and very spectacular. Mount your Insta360 X3 on a telescope stick and slowly move it upwards. Find an interesting environment such as a tree in the forest or various other objects. Rotation and panning reframing movements can be used to make the Rise up Shot look more dynamic and interesting.

"Pass by Location change" Transition
For this transition trick you can use the 4K Single Lens Mode. This allows you to shoot traditional 4K wide angle videos. Create a Shot where a person walks in front or next to you. Then pass this person very close. Create a second Shot where you are very close to the person at the beginning and then move away. If you now cut both sequences where you are very close to the object, you will get the “Pass by Location change” Transition.

Golf Swing
This Insta360 X3 trick is one of my favorites. First, extend the selfie stick and simulate a classic golf swing. To simulate the flying of the golf ball, you need to create a hyperlapse shot. To do this, walk along a straight path. Move the camera along the course in a curve from the bottom to the top and back down again, to simulate the flightcurve of a golf ball. Then speed up the Shot to simulate a flying golf ball. In addition, you can add various reframing movements, such as rotating when the golf ball hits the ground. This Insta360 X3 trick is unique and your viewers will enjoy watching it!

Rotating landscape flip
For the rotating landscape flip, we again use the bullet time function of the Insta360 X3. Mount your X3 to the bullet-time cord or selfie stick and swing it around your head. Do this in a variety of landscapes. By adding speed ramps in post-processing you can add together the final “rotating landscape flip” effect.
