My Yucaipa: Oak Glen Apple Season 2023

My name is Gerald Peplow. I am a FAA Part 107 certified UAV pilot. This video is from my series, "My Yucaipa". I currently fly a registered DJI Mini 2 and Mini 3. This mission I flew my new UAV Da Niao (Big Bird). He is a Mavic 3 and wow it is fun to fly him. He also gives crisp images. Rebecca Peplow is my Visual Observer. This video is My Yucaipa: Oak Glen Apple Season 2023. This Summer, 2023, has been cooler than normal and the weather in Oak Glen very pleasant.

One of the places I stopped to image was Oak Glen Village. I grew up in Yucaipa so I remember Yogi Bear Park, which is now a resort. My wife Becky and her brother Brian both worked at Mom's Country Orchard's. Laws Cafe is not the same and the Mountain Town Museum and Deer Zoo is gone. Becky and I married at the Oak Glen Christian Conference Center back in the late 70s. Things have really changed. But there is still lots to do up here.

This time we are looking at Apple Season 2023. We imaged Los Rios Rancho and Mountain Town. This is the most important season for Oak Glen. People come from all over California and the nation. It is amazing to see how many people want to feel old times and experience nature. Make sure you walk the trails of the Wildlands Conservancy when you visit.
