It is time for our annual Brush For Bucks conservation project. This year we are going to be focusing our efforts in an are north of Snowville Utah. The unit we will be planting is a crucial migration route that over 6,000 mule deer use to transition to their wintering grounds. This area was completely burned back in 2020 when the "Black Pine Fire" swept through and devastated a majority of the natural plants and bushes mule deer rely on to make it through the winter. We need your help!!

About Brush for Bucks

An idea that originated from a long term partnership with First Lite dating back to 2013 with the intent of leveraging our Hush community to make a positive impact on conservation & habitat improvements. Simply put….let’s get more boots on the ground for conservation and habitat restoration while having a great time doing it.

In 2022 we planted 11,600 seedlings in the ground on a critical winter range habitat in unit 45 in SE Idaho.

In 2023 we planted over 30,000 sagebrush seedlings on winter range ground located in Unit 39 north of Mountain Home, Idaho.

2024 we are hoping to plant nearly 25,000 sagebrush and bitter brush seedlings on a crucial migration route. The IF&G estimate over 6,000 mule deer live in this unit and use the migration route. In 2020 The “Black Pine Fire” ripped through this area and burned everything in its path. It is paramount that we get some beneficial plants back in the ground.

100% of the money raised will be used to cover operating expenses of the event and will help us to continue funding Brush for Bucks for years to come. This year, Brush for Bucks has partnered with the Mule Deer Foundation where they will act as a 501(c)3 non-profit entity. This will allow us to continue to grow this cause and provide a tax benefit for anyone interested in making a monetary donation.

* If you would like to make a monetary tax deductible donation to support this event you can make a check payable to the Mule Deer Foundation with the memo line as "Brush for Bucks"

We look forward to seeing you there,

Brian, Casey, Eric, Logan, Matt
