The Winnebago Travato Class B RV is the most popular selling Camper Van in North America with about a 49% market share.

Winnebago “updated” the 59G floor plan in 2022 making the front “Great Room” a bit roomier. However, I think they reduced the overall functionality and versatility in the floor plan. Plus, some traveler comfort is compromised.

Having traveled full-time in my 2019 Winnebago Travato 59G for over five years, I know a few things about the “old” floor plan that does not exist in the current floor plan. I hope Winnebago brings back some the versatility and travel comfort missing in the current floor plan. But these improvement are subjective depending on what is important to you and how you travel in your Camper Van.

FIXES WINNEBAGO NEEDS TO MAKE
- Dinette seating
- Expanding table (that can collapse into a 4’x6’ bed
- Move the bathroom wall for more elbow room
- Reduce shower floor height allowing an adult to fully stand up in the bathroom
