Started playing the banjo when Corona / Covid started. When working from home I converted the 'commuting to work time' to 'banjo practice time'. Learned myself this simple forward roll (it's all I can play apart from a basic claw hammer), add 4 chords and it's all you need to play this song.
I came across Cruel Cruel World, in a much better version sung by Willy Nelson, while playing 'Red Dead Redemption 2'. My girlfriend shot this video that I played for her june 29th 2022, she died of cancer aug 12th 2022. This same vid was played at her cremation. Cruel Cruel World has an extra dimension for me now.
