Finally after all those planning, saving and fulfilling all the requirements for this travel, we excitedly left Singapore on 19 September and arrived at our first European Country, Italy, in Milan! It took us almost 17 hours. There was almost a 3-hours transit stop over in Dubai. Good thing, Italy is 6 hours behind Singapore so it seemed like we gained more time. Anyway, it would be taken back once it’s time to fly back to Singapore. Nothing is really free in this world :-)

In Milan, we were toured by a local guide around the Sforza Castle, then our guide from EU holidays took over when we walked from the castle to Galleria Vittorio Emmanuel II. I’m sure Steve, our EU holiday guide, introduced most of the areas as we walked by but I can’t remember everything now. However, I can remember myself awing on the scale of the buildings. They are so big and full of art. Even the roads seemed to whisper “Look! I’m pretty too!” In my eyes, everything was hugely gorgeous and elegant in any perspective I took.

The facades alone were really fascinating. It would be good to stay longer and picture more details. Creating the video almost 4 years later makes me wonder why I did not have any photos of their intricacies. Everything I took was about the sceneries. Maybe next time…hmmm next time…
