Today I had a great day photographing a large number of wood ducks and other wildlife that were along the flood plains of the Connecticut River. These were definitely the best photos and footage of wood ducks that I have been able to get as they are a bird that I never really had good luck photographing. While I was sitting along the banks I had some unexpected visitors including a pie-billed grebe, a muskrat, and a beautiful adult bald eagle. I love hanging out around wetlands because you never really know what you are going to end up seeing. I hop you enjoy!
