After shooting just 9-26 from the floor in game 1, he came out in game 2 motivated to prove that no one could contain him for consecutive games. Kobe was scorching in the first quarter, scoring 20 points while beginning a streak of 10 straight made shots that would carry into the 2nd quarter. After a second half that featured one quarter of facilitating and another quarter of another scoring outburst, Kobe ended the night with 49 points on 18-27 shooting and 10 assists. The Lakers won by a score of 122-107.
