If your car smells like rotten eggs or sulfur when accelerating or when revving up your car in this video we will explain what often causes a car to smell like rotten eggs / sulfur. If your car smells like rotten eggs it is most likely caused by bad gas, dirty catalytic converter or clogged catalytic converter. In some cases it is normal to smell sulfur / rotten eggs if you have driven your car short distance and the catalytic converter did not reach optimal temperature next time you rev your car the catalytic converter will get hot and kind of clean itself.
