I recently bought a bone stock C6 Corvette Z06 with just over 50K miles, but I quickly learned that Goldie wasn't in showroom condition when I took her on a 1,200-mile shakedown rally.

I took the car to my friend's house for a health check and he confirmed that there are a few things wrong.

Despite the concerns, I wanted a baseline lap time under my belt, so I took the C6Z to the racetrack to see what she could do. I brought a passenger along and there was a lot of screaming.
