Connect with the energy of the full moon - to release, let go and reset your mind and body.

00:35 Listen to this meditation on the evening of the Full Moon
If the sky allows for it, sitting under the bright moonlight. Work with this meditation for a week leading up to the full moon or a week afterward.

01:01 Let's Begin
Find a comfortable seat position. Settle into your body and environment. Take a deep breath in and as you exhale, soften your body, relaxing into your position. Gently close your eyes.

02:09 Take a moment to scan through your body
Notice what is being held within you, beginning from the crown of your head and then move down through your body. Become aware of any tension being held in your body. Notice where you are storing pain, stress or any feelings of unease.

05:52 Try to sit with the pain or discomfort
Observe, without needing to change, move or runaway. Simply feel the feelings being illuminated.

07:14 Take a moment to tune into your mind
Notice what thoughts are running through your mind - are they more positive or negative? Self-critical? Releasing old beliefs in the mind and old aches in the body. It is the perfect time to let them go permanently.

09:50 Imagine the Full Moon hovering above the crown of your head
Feel the silver light starting to enter your body. As you breath deeply in, you invite this moonlight deep into your body. As you watch it, and feel it, you notice that it starts to pulsate and move within you. Every breathe in, illuminating your insides. Every exhale, you can imagine sending the moonlight down through your body, and out through the base of your feet or spine - cleansing, clearing and letting go of all the negative thoughts and feelings.

17:51 Can you feel the change within you?
Feeling calm and clear since letting go of all your old energy. Free from all that no longer serves you. Take a moment to check in with your body and mind. What feels different since the beginning of this meditation? By using the power of the full moon, you can cleanse your body each moon cycle and use this time to reset your mind and body. The full moon is the most powerful time to illuminate the old and let it all go.

20:36 Reconnect your minds-eye to the vision of the moon above your head
Feel it's silvery light supporting you to cleanse and let go. The light above you and the light within you - give thanks to the moon for supporting your journey today.

22:13 Take a deep breath in and come back to the present moment
Slowly open your eyes and the next time you see the illuminated silver moon in the sky, breathe in it's wholeness and let it's energy be a cleanse for your mind and body.
