Doc talks about tips on applying lawn preemergent. Timing is critical but there are also other things to keep in mind. Important note... Preemergence herbicides have NO EFFECT on weed seeds. A common myth is that they STOP seed germination when in fact they stop / hinder the growth of roots and shoots. This is why TIMING is critical.
