Review for TY Beanie Babies IGGY & RAINBOW. We go over the different so called errors, color variations, tag mistakes etc.. We also provide some value to help you better understand what has been going on with these. They are fairly common as alot of them were made by TY.
These were released in January of 1998 and retired in March 1999. The 2 main styles are Iggy the Iguana (the one with spikes) & Rainbow the Chameleon (the one with collar). Each style came with 2 colors.

The first version of Iggy to be released is the ty-dyed one. When it first came out many thought it had the wrong tags. It didn't. The color of the material was incorrect. It supposed to be dark blue not ty-dyed. After the initial shipment TY corrected the problem with the material and released it as intended with the dark blue material. Rainbow the chameleon is the other way. It was supposed to be ty-dyed not dark blue.

They have been selling in the $4.00 to $8.00 range lately. Don't be fooled by the crazy prices you see listed online.
