Part of the Journey

We were at Discount Tire having the front two tires replaced. If you've watched our videos, you may remember that as we were leaving Land Between the Lakes in the early summer, we had a flat tire. The man who worked on it went far beyond what we expected. He removed a giant bolt from the tire, and then he plugged it. The first plug was too small, so we followed him to his shop where he got a bigger plug and plugged it again. That plug got us well on our way, but when we got to Montana, it wasn't holding air. Thus, we were at Discount Tire.

If you are new to RVing, we want you to know, it isn't all beautiful scenery and excitement for the trip. Sometimes, you have to stop at a Discount Tire. By the way, while there are literally hundreds of Discount Tire centers in Texas, there are three in Montana.

We could look at this as something that practically ruined the trip. It's an added expense for the trip, it isn't a really fun stop, it's an hour or more wasted. We choose to look at this at how blessed we were to be relatively close to a Discount Tire when we needed two tires.
