The Dragon is famous for 318 turns in 10 miles. The Cherohala Skyway is a 43-mile National Scenic Byway from Tellico Plains, Tennessee, to Robbinsville, North Carolina. We also drive route 28 from Deals Gap past Fontana Dam on the way to the Cherokee Casino.
