Meet Jane. After retiring from teaching, she spent the next decade looking after her husband, John, living with dementia. After John sadly passed away, Jane, like so many others, had to learn to live alone. Christmas time can be particularly difficult when someone is feeling lonely. After reading about Re-engage and attending her local tea party, Jane had the chance to reconnect, make new friends and have something to look forward to – especially having the opportunity to get dressed up for the day.
