Skip to 1:55 if you're only here for an explanation of how the effect was done.

This video answers two questions:
1. How did they do the two crazy, time-bending effects from Chungking Express?
and
2. Why the effects are important for the movie's characters and story?

I've just set up a membership feature if you want to support. These videos take a stupid amount of hours to research, write, record and edit. Channel memberships are now the best way to help me make these faster.

After the monstrosity of the Arnold video, it was nice to take a step back and dive into the creation of one of my favourite movies. In the process of making this, I've had a few ideas for other Chungking Express videos, so you can definitely look forward to more in the future :)

I am relatively new to making youtube videos, so if you've got any criticism you think might be helpful, please fire away. If you've subscribed or engaged with my content recently, you have all of my gratitude. I'm completely committed to making each video better than the last. Much love to all.

I made this channel to talk about movies because I love em. Thank you so much for the view.

If you're reading the description (which you are) you now owe me a juicy like.
