2003 GMC Envoy with a 5.3 engine. This noise, piston slap has been around for several years with no adverse affects, other than the noise. Doesn't really sound too high quality, but it still runs great after 238,000 km.

Lifter noise is a lighter "clicking" not so much the "slap" sound we hear in this video.
