The Cardinals hosted the Dodgers at Busch Stadium this past weekend and LA third baseman Max Muncy was ejected during the top of the fourth inning. Muncy would begin complaining to the home plate umpire about the two pitches essentially matching and being two different calls. As he is walking away, he will direct his attention toward the third base umpire Paul Emmel as he was the home plate umpire in yesterday’s game where Muncy feels like his team got screwed on more inconsistent calls. Namely, a wide strike three call to end the game to Mookie Betts.
