Gucci was kind enough to let us inside both their Archive in Florence and their flagship NYC store to showcase their latest project “The Art of Silk” in celebration of their silk scarves that have become such an important part of the brand! From getting to see some of the original scarves from the 1960s, as well as learning about the artisan Vittorio Accornero who created them, to highlighting their “90x90” project that saw 9 artists reimagine the original 5 scarf styles: Flora, Fauna, Nautical, Equestrian, and GG Monogram. We also highlight the “Gucci: The Art of Silk book & the Julia Garner “Keep It Gucci: The Art of Silk” campaign!
