You have the choice of seven or eight seats when it comes to the Hyundai Palisade range - but should you be considering this big family SUV at all?

In this family review, Emily Agar gets down to business with the facelifted version of Hyundai's biggest vehicle - in this instance, she drove the 2023 Hyundai Palisade Elite diesel AWD seven-seater.

At just under $70K, it isn't cheap - but it has seen some dramatic changes over the previous model, including crucial safety tech updates to help it achieve the maximum five-star ANCAP rating (the old one was four-star rated).

It has also scored a new look, some different inclusions and accessories, and it still has plenty of space for a family of two, three, four, five, six or even seven (or eight, if you choose the eight-seater).
