What happens if a huge crisis arise in society? The power goes out, and everything we take for granted, stops working? Would we be able to survive without electricity?

I live in a simple house, already having bare minimum of the amenities we're used to. And to be honest, I believe that would be to my advantage when it comes to survival. And best of all – I will always have running water, even without electricity!
