How To Change The Battery in a Ford Ranger Key Fob Remote Control-Watch this before you change the battery in your Ford Ranger key fob

You will need 1 X CR2450 battery per Ford Ranger key.

The Ford Ranger key remote uses 3V CR2450 cell batteries, They are cheap to buy online but may be hard to find in local stores. The Ford Ranger dash will start to give you warnings when the remote battery voltage starts to drop.
In this demo video we show you how to open the Ford Ranger key fob remote and remove and fit the battery without damaging the plastic case. No tools are needed, but I found a paperclip made levering the old battery out very easy.
