Coming off of the PlayStation showcase 2023, Naughty Dog released a statement last week announcing that their The Last of Us Multiplayer project (also known as Factions 2) was once again delayed. It appears their hands were forced in doing so, as Jason Schreier then released an article on Bloomberg explaining how thhe team behind Factions was significantly scaled down following an assessment by Bungie, who questioned the long-term viability of the project. In this video, I give you all my thoughts on the news and what I foresee for the future of the company and the Last of Us multiplayer game.
